Care Homes
Massage has a huge positive impact on mental and physical wellbeing and I have found that when working with the elderly they feel more energised after the treatment and a chat.
I do not ask your residents to move, I work around them.

I love that I can have such a positive impact on peoples general wellbeing!

Treatments

Head massage
A head massage is a great way to relax, especially if you struggle with headaches and high stress levels.
It can release tension, ease migraine /headache pain, reduce stress and increase relaxation.
(no creams or oils are used in this treatment)

Hand massage
Hand massage can help ease pain, increase hand strength and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
When having a hand massage we aim to relieve tension by relaxing muscles. You may find your temperature in your hands rises during a massage due to an increase in blood flow. After being at a computer all day, you will be surprised at how relaxed you can feel from having your hands massaged.
(I will use a light unique liquifying massage cream. Any excess massage cream that hasn’t been absorbed by the skin will be removed by the towel)

Shoulders, neck and head massage
This is a calming treatment and in just 15 minutes it can leave you refocussed and revitalised for the rest of the day. This treatment is conducted in a massage chair designed for comfort.
The chair itself takes up as much space as an office chair, however I will need space to move around it.
(I will use a light unique liquifying massage cream so you can put clothes straight back on afterwards as it absorbs into the skin)

Foot massage
Having a foot massage stimulates muscles, reduces tension, improves circulation and can help ease pain.
You will find a foot massage relaxes the whole body, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and can also improve sleep quality.
(I will use a light unique liquifying massage cream. Any excess massage cream that hasn’t been absorbed by the skin will be removed by the towel)

Full body massage
This is the ultimate 60 minute treatment for relaxation and stress relief which is tailored to your needs. Removal of clothing will be essential as cream will be used, however you will be covered by towels for privacy.
Massage relieves tension from sore muscles, improves circulation and breaks down the build up of toxins in the body. It not only has effects from a physical perspective, it also reduces mental stress and induces an overall feeling of wellbeing.
This massage is conducted on a massage couch and I will provide towels and cream.

Oncology massage
When someone is going through cancer treatment, living with cancer or recovering from it, massage can have a powerful physical and emotional impact. My Oncology Massage has been built from the techniques learnt during my Oncology Training course and can be tailored to suit each client.

Mindful touch massage
My Mindful Touch Massage has been designed for those who need a lighter touch, for example, someone suffering with fibromyalgia. We aways do a consultation prior to starting the massage so I have a full understanding of your needs and can then design a massage around them.
Massage doesn’t need to be painful or hard pressure, you can have an effective pain free massage and also feel the relaxation benefits.

Essential oil facial
An essential oil facial is a massage of the face and neck. It includes a thorough cleanse and tone, a face massage, and to finish, hydrating serum and eye cream. The treatment is conducted on the couch for full relaxation and lasts approximately 20 minutes.
It will leave your skin feeling refreshed and provide you with a sense of well being.

Holistic facials
A holistic facial is more than just a mask. It is a relaxing experience that includes cleansing, toning, a facial massage, a natural face mask, scalp massage, and to finish, hydrating serum and eye cream. You will be laying on the massage couch for comfort and will experience 45 minutes of relaxation, stress release and bliss.

Hand reflexology
Hand reflexology is an effective treatment that works on the same premise as foot reflexology. Reflexology is known to relieve stress and ease tension. Many modern diseases are triggered by stress, so even with a simple evaluation, we can clearly see that reflexology can indeed impact the health positively and in a beneficial way.
